Our annual event brings the community together for fun food and drinks. Great prizes donated by local businesses. 

In September and March we hold a community festival and garage sale. Food, rummage sale items, a raffle and entertainment make this semi-annual event something everyone in the community looks forward to.

In February each year, one of our volunteers will flag you down as you drive in or out of Ojochal, and ask if you can “spare some change?”  Help us out by dropping something in the bucket!

In the spirit of Christmas, we provide families with that little something extra they need to celebrate – food, household items and even a soccer ball for the kids. Your donations are essential!

Every year the kids in the community need shoes, school shirts, books, and pencils in order to return to class. We provide these in a great backpack. Getting an education is priceless. Your donations are essential!

Most kids in the community haven't been up close with a sea turtle or to the mangroves.  Our custom-built, week-long group session lets them explore the possibilities, build relationships and have fun!  Your donations are essential!
